Excitement
So Ray just left to go in the opposite direction of most people right now. Vandenberg sent two teams (Ray included) today to Louisiana to document the humanitarian effort surrounding Hurricane Gustav. He's pretty excited, and it should be a really cool opportunity. We've got no idea how long the'll be down there, probably about two weeks. Ray should be writing up a bunch of press releases and articles, while the two other people on his team will take mountains of pictures and video. I guess they're flying into an airport that will be high and dry, and then they'll play it by ear from there. I don't think we have to worry about him too much, but we packed lots of clean socks, just in case!
He's not sure at all how much he'll be able to talk on the phone, but I'll make sure to keep people in the know about anything new that comes up.
