After 10 months of dodgy toothiness from the collision, I finally had it ripped out this morning. The good dentist was struggling valiently with it for a good three quarters of an hour, before he finally got it. The bone was apparently much more of a mess than usual, and he had to remove much more bone than usual -- all the way up to my nose. ( Read more... )

It's still sitting there. I can't ride for 5 days, so I pick it up on Tuesday. Got the taxi to work.

Yeah, I'm starting to think I made the wrong decision. But taxi fare to work was expensive enough without adding on 10km to get home. I didn't like my chances of claiming that off TAC even before I forgot to ask for a receipt.

I have no ingredients at home to make soup, and being the arse end of Melbourne, there are no semi-decent shops. So I partly decided to come here because at least I can eat stuff here.

So I just went to a vietnamese restaurant on glenferrie, and fainted whilst eating. That was daft. But at least I have take away soup now which I can eat for dinner :)
