I'm writing more, I promise. One of the down sides to co-writing most logs is that you're held to your writing partner's pace and life has a habit of interfering sometimes, y'know? But there should be more soon. And there was a fun meta... thing... with Mark B on the est_meta comm, here. I haven't quite decided how to go about pointing out any publicly-posted meta yet since I'm really not used to working with it!

Yes and no on wanting to take control; part of the point for playing him in an RPG instead of simply creating my own story is that it's a lot of fun to interact with other writers and their characters and see what shakes loose. The inability to truly predict what'll happen is a big part of the appeal. :D Meta is essentially character interaction that takes place offstage and thus does not count as an official part of the character's in-game story arc. It's sort of an elaborate writing exercise, and you can find out some fascinating things about your character that can help you figure out what to do with them in-game.
I have three Rob/Paul drabbles, which are 100 word fics: More; Smoker's Cough; and Breaking Me In. I also have a fairly long fic featuring Rob/Billie Joe Armstrong, which is pretty much my prototype character for Est!Rob, Downtown Whore.
