Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Now that's more like it.

There are a lot of things to love about this chapter, but I think my favourite bit is Lars on the steps in front of Adie, just pouring it all out. It is, in a way, a prelude to pouring it out to Billie, and it seems to let him start to sort out what's really going on.

Also, it feels very much like Adie is the gatekeeper to Billie, and that Lars needs to get past her in order for he and Billie to move forward.

And how cute is it that in the midst of all the angst and the schmoop, Billie thinks he might have got a good song out of it!

Ahahaha, no worries. It very much would have been out of place, yes. 'Twas just that she'd posted that she held little hope of anything happening in Ch. 8 given where 7 left off! Which was clearly not the case...but you can't cram in everything. :D

What I wanted to say after 7 was basically what Billie says here: Lars is a total unknown to her, especially since she knows enough about how Billie feels/thinks about him to basically discount anything in the media. Awwww! That was nice, well as nice as I'm sure they're going to get.

I can see where both of them are coming from in terms of how they're feeling and shit. They're both stubborn fuckers though aren't they? lol.

The amount of time you must have spent on their speeches to get them to sound that damm believable....this entire story's a masterpiece.
