The temp job I'm at was advertised a couple weeks ago as a permanent full-time position - I've known it would be since mid-August, and have been encouraged to apply ever since then. The interviews were today (ergo, I obviously could not go to the Canadian uni alumni thing in London after all). Last one was at 3:30 and by 4:30 I had been offered and
