Changed my layout for the first time in forever. I was getting tired of the black background and wanted some colour. It's a bit pinker than I'd like with the background image I used, which also doesn't blend that well so far as repeating goes, but it'll do for the moment. Trufax indeed, however, I am as was pointed out to me once, punk rock only from a distance. LOL. (Though if I were less impaired with straight lines, I probably would at least trim my own bangs. Experience dictates that that is a heinous idea, though.)

I get to spend tomorrow making some more phone calls in an effort to find something non-bankrupty that's a wee bit bigger than a postage stamp.

Southampton, about an hour and a half southwest of London (and something like 20% cheaper to live, or so the story goes). I do know that about apartments from my days in Toronto, but there's teeny tiny and then there's what's actually a bedroom with a tiny stove and fridge where the dresser would be. It really basically was a dorm room set-up, which is not so much what I think of as an apartment to actually live in, y'know? I've seen other ads for different places that may or may not be bigger, but we'll see. Only way to find out is to go look!

Yeah, if I were living in London I would definitely need to be going the roommate route. I'm hoping to avoid that, though. Too complicated with knowing I'll have people staying with me periodically, and even more importantly, the idea of walking into a multiple-roomie situation with no one I've ever even met wigs me out majorly. I'd also like to try living all on my own again.
