As soon as I opened it I knew who it was from (who the fuck else would send me SKoMx2, right?!) and then, THEN I saw the note. Eeeeee! You should have heard me squeal. No joke. :D

I've come to learn that, mothers usually have their heart in the right place, it just doesn't translate well. My mom is the same way. What she thinks is helpful advice, I take it as nik picking and prying. The talk seemed to go well with both of you, so I'm glad. :D

As for your friend, *kicks her boyfriend*. Dude, men can be so slimy. And I bet he broke things off with her in a shitty way, didn't he? I swear, boys have been annoying me for weeks! You should make that a couple boxes of tissues. Her first serious relationship? Poor girl :(

It was indeed shitty, considering that they were working through an argument and he'd reassured her not an hour beforehand on the phone that it would all be fine, then dropped it on her when she came in the door. Argh.
