I've come to learn that, mothers usually have their heart in the right place, it just doesn't translate well. My mom is the same way. What she thinks is helpful advice, I take it as nik picking and prying. The talk seemed to go well with both of you, so I'm glad. :D

As for your friend, *kicks her boyfriend*. Dude, men can be so slimy. And I bet he broke things off with her in a shitty way, didn't he? I swear, boys have been annoying me for weeks! You should make that a couple boxes of tissues. Her first serious relationship? Poor girl :(

Yeah, exactly. And I know it doesn't translate well but I also can't always help how it makes me feel. So it's good that we cleared stuff up. (on the mom front)

It was indeed shitty, considering that they were working through an argument and he'd reassured her not an hour beforehand on the phone that it would all be fine, then dropped it on her when she came in the door. Argh.

Heee heeeee. Glad you liked, dear. Did you see how I didn't even tease you about it? (Actually, I was planning to, but it got there quicker than I thought it would, heh.) Now you can see the Drummer dropping a glass and swearing a lot in shiny DVD glory. Then read about it.
But it was really nothin' to do with me...

Lars: Hey, it's no private island, but whatever. *smug*

Good to hear about the mother situation getting (at least partially) resolved, too. *squishes*

*giggles* Yes, I did notice the lack of teasing! But two days ain't a lot of time, lol - they were fast. *pets the shiny* *loves it and you*

*is also still amused that apparently Amazon doesn't care if their gift notes contain profanity*

"Oh, well. I'm currently feeling the urge to *strangle* him for the way he went about it."

We'll all cover for you if you do. ;)

I'm probably annoying everyone with this now, but do you mind if I reccomend your slash on green_day_recs? I'm asking everyone just in case. :)

I don't mind at all. It's nice when people think enough of your stories to tell their friends about them. Thanks for asking. :-)

I am actually feeling good on that front now, which is an excellent thing indeed.

I'm really pleased to hear this *hugs* You don't deserve the hassle and clear air is always good :)
