Okay~ So. First point is that Hiro is a Sohma, and Tohru's got a sort've 'collect-them-all' mentality in that she's always excited to meet one and find out what their curse is and just get to know them in general. She thinks it's amazing to be able to meet so many people like that and thinks they're all very interesting in their own ways and, most of all, she likes being able to help them as much as she can. Making things easier for them and making them happy makes her happy, so

Even though we occasionally chat about this, I will admit some curiosity. Gokudera on Zexion?

Zexion is an interesting figure for Gokudera. He's very much someone who Dera sees as being more experienced and intelligent, but he tends to present those aspects of himself in a way that doesn't come across as confrontational or challenging to him. Dera never gets the sense that Zexion is trying to put himself on a higher level. Like, there's no motive to the way he behaves -- he just happens to be that way. All in all it's a refreshing sort of superior personality to deal with when compared with Shamal who often frustrates Dera and then gets weary or annoyed himself when Dera just doesn't get his dumb metaphors. :| He doesn't ever feel like Zexion is disappointed in him without understanding why. He knows sometimes he just fucks up, but at least he tends to get what he did wrong most of those times. :| Shamal's just confusing a lot of the time

I HAVE A QUESTION. Your reply may involve spoilers for some of the recent chapters (omgvalidation) s-so could you lemme know how far you've read so I don't end up saying too much? >D

I am actually A-OK with spoilers. XD But I've read up to just past where they all beat Xanxus and co. I think the that last chapter I read was Tsuna finding Gokudera when he's ten years older.

Dera Background Spoilers [ch 162]

Okay. Starting off, Himawari is one of those exceedingly rare individuals who rarely manages to incite annoyance in Gokudera -- at least, not annoyance that is actually meant for her. Just about any time he's been short and snappy with her, it's been because of the situation going on at the time rather than any aspect of her personality or anything like that. He just doesn't find himself feeling any desire to make the effort at keeping her at a distance in the way he does with damn near every other person he knows. It's not that he wants to allow her closer, he just. Doesn't want to push her away either. A-and for a while this was a little concerning since there's no precedent for this in canon (technically still isn't). It wasn't until the recent de-aging Dera went through and the release of a recent chapter that things clicked into place
