Pumpkins?

So we're getting some pumpkins tonight to carve 'em. I've never done this before, nor have I ever seen the inside of a pumpkin

Can't help you there; I haven't done pumpkins since I was a little kid. We're going to do one this year, though; not sure yet about the design.

A friend told me the night before last that the Homestar Runner site has free pumpkin-carving free patterns for the main characters. Whee!

I've never cooked pumpkin but intend to this year as I'm also getting one to carve :) A friend said that pumpkin is good roasted - I thought I'd try that with some sweet potato, peppers and courgettes.

I think that the vegan cook-off community (I'm not sure of its exact name) on LJ is featuring pumpkins right now. I'm going to check that out today.
