So we're getting some pumpkins tonight to carve 'em. I've never done this before, nor have I ever seen the inside of a pumpkin.
Can I keep all of the inside pulp? Aside from pumpkin pie, is there anything else I can do with it? Could I sub it for shredded zucchini for a zucchini bread recipe, for instance?
How much seed will I get out of a couple of medium / small pumpkins?
Is there anything I should look for in a pumpkin to make sure that it's in prime shape? How long does a pumpkin generally last once it's carved?
We're just getting a couple and then after Halloween when prices go down, we may get more if I feel that I can make use of them.
