Space. Space. Gonna be in space. Space.

In light of the recent news about Osama Bin Laden's death, I'm thinking that my thoughts on yaoi the most recent episode of Doctor Who probably aren't all that important in the grand scheme of things.

But you're getting them anyway. Muahahaha.

Doctor Who - Spoilers for 6x01 and 6x02 )

games: portal 2, space is not a fandom, tv: doctor who

As I mentioned on Twitter, I've loved Mark Sheppard for awhile. I didn't realize quite how long until I checked IMDB today. There's just something awesomely great about him. Whether he's playing a good guy or a bad guy, he tends to be bad-ass either way.

He and his father have actually played the same character a couple of times, including in NCIS.

And yeah on the plot thing. I am willing to handwave a lot though for awesome characters. Witness my love of H50. :D

There is something awesomely great about him. I don't know that I'd always describe it as "bad-ass," but he's just -- he's cooler than everyone. All the time. It's like an affliction.

And aww, that's cute, I didn't know that.

Oh, H50. Why can't you be available on Netflix Canada so I can more readily catch up on you?

It's so funny, because I vividly remember all the vile hatred for River when she was first introduced and then brought back. Everyone haaaaaaaaaaated her. She was like the perfect example of a Mary Sue - she was smart, pretty, and knew EVERYTHING about the Doctor and kept on saying "Spoilers" all the damn time and was generally extremely irritating ( ... )

I actually haven't seen Silence in the Library'/Forest of the Dead yet. There's a lot of the pre-Eleven stuff that I've missed. I should really go back and, if not totally catch up, at least watch the highlights.

Yeah, it's funny -- I tend to think of Doctor Who as more of a roller coaster ride than a television show. I don't stress about the details (oh look, more aliens -- pfft, regenerating kid, whatevs) but rather just sit back from week to week and enjoy the ride.

I know the time issue all too well. I'll say, though, that while I did love Portal the affection I feel for Portal 2 is almost without parallel. I've spent the last few days scratching my head, wondering how on earth I could make a plush toy out of a vaguely humanoid, upside-down robot. *facepalm*

So, uh... yes. Highly recommended. ILU GLaDOS. ;_;
