Ah... I am not conditioned to this walking. This is going to take some growing accustomed to. I'm afraid this small bird of mine has more energy than I do. I think it wants me to hurry up, but I don't want us to run into anything we can't handle. I really have no way of knowing what is out there ( Read more... )

Slow and steady seems like a better plan to me. Besides, if we stay behind maybe everyone else will get their fight out before we catch up to them!

That would seem to be a sensible suggestion. I am in no great hurry. It matters less to me that I reach some destination than it does that I am going somewhere.

Well, if you ask me I'd personally like to get back where I came from before all this... but whether or not that's where the end of this road leads, I guess that remains to be seen.

It's called a Natu, apparently. A little green bird, mostly wings and eyes. It's supposed to have psychic powers, though I haven't seen it do anything out of the ordinary yet.
