Geez, I'm glad all this crap is happening now that I'm legally an adult... you've been on my flist since I was 14 and I can't imagine having to be defriended just for being under 18. Crazy! It's sad that you have to do this, but I see the necessity. :(
Gah, this is just such a PAIN all around. My flist is staying as-is, no deletions there on account of this mess.
Like someone said, all it takes is one crazy person to report you to LJ for XYZ, and if LJ decides to nail you for CP (for fiction, um which I do not get how that can be CP, but okay!):
The best part? It's not just that they'll be suspended from LJ. It's that they'll be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children because it's required by federal law. This is sooo much bigger than LJ, people.
Okay. Well, I've really enjoyed your posts and perspective (plus the helpful links) on the latest developments here at lj. I'd love an add so that I can continue reading your posts and possibly comment, but I can understand if you do not add me since I don't really know you (or you me) and my journal is mostly empty. And btw, I really like that banner. :)
Well your journal may be empty but you've obviously been commenting places. ;)
Thank you! My brother is a sort of professional photographer and I kind of stole it from his portfolio without his permission. ;) *eyes inbox; awaits aggravated email*
~giggles~ that's ok, dear. I have a tendancy to fail at friending myself. :P Only reason i remembered to add a whole bunch of people recently was because someone else was sitting on my head to make sure I did it. :P
You're right. There is absolutely NO WAY to feel safety.
Have friended! I have your comm friended, but I apologize as I didn't notice that you yourself had me friended! I am really bad about keeping track of friendings. :))

Public posts were fun while it lasted. But as long as LJ doesn't decide where the fogline is, there's no way to feel safety.
Will you friend me back??
