I've got to admit, I love smarm and angst, but am a huge fan of h/c (don't really know Magnificent Seven but will check out the story!)
Wow, I had to really think about my h/c buttons and they match pretty well with yours. I'd have to say that for me it has to be believable - if I can say that. I mean in particular a logical progression with whatever the hurt is and the ensuing comfort/recovery. I don't know how how many stories I've read where there's a 'serious injury' but the person recovers so friggin' fast it's like all they needed was a bandaid for their booboo.

Oh, 100% on the realistic and believable injuries. I think our fav guys can be tougher than some fanfic portrays but not as superhuman as other stories show. Make me believe it! (and love it)

Thanks for the recs, I think I've read the neonchica ones, but I'll double check.

The Mag 7 one is LONG, but so so good. I started it again last night - it was like revisiting an old friend
