OMG!!!! Had the most fantastic day. Running around with disney princess, jawa's and pirates raising money for the kids. Soooo many happy children and Tink even have Jack Sparrow a run for the money in the popularity contest.

I got chosen to go down to Melbourne to help fundraise for the Good Friday Appeal. I get to dress up as a hobbit! My only worry is the hair. Anyone who knows my hair knows that it is straight and likes to stay straight. I'm going to give ragging a go, people who have no luck with hot irons says that ragging overnight usually works for them. going ( Read more... )

Have a bit of a crazy idea. Go and do a costume making course. Hardly the time to do it while I am unemployed but I said I would never go back and study at school but the idea of doing this kinda makes me want to. Well anyway just putting it out to the universe.

Well what an apsolute fiasco. You would think an one hour flight over to Tassie would be simple no? Well let's try the flight over. Drive down to airport great, check in nice and quick, about to board 'Flight blah blah blah has been cancelled please proceed to baggage collection and then to customer serice'. Grrrr! It's almost Christmas!!!
Carols and Lessons tonight. Always fun but not so much when you're stuck in a hall, in robes when it's 40C outside.  I love the heat but we'll survive, we always do.

Christmas day at home then off to Tassie.
