While the writers’ strike of recent memory caused much annoyance and withdrawal symptoms for many television fans, I will always be grateful in a way. It was the writers’ strike that introduced me to the Stargate universe. The only new thing on was Stargate Atlantis. The episode: Quarantine. I was hooked, and another Stargate fangirl was born.
