Conn's been trying for the last month or more to get vacation from work, and they've been turning him down.  Yet they told him that if he didn't put in for vacation by this week, before the schedule for the next quarter is out, then they'll assign his vacation for him

I seriously feel for your difficulty in vacation planning! Been going through scheduling problems myself... pick a day to visit and he gets duty or is busy or or or... yeah Gah! Gahing with you!
