I am still mildly surprised to have surprised you. To have surprised any of you, really. I was convinced that you would all see this coming and think it trite; I'm glad it didn't come out that way

Well apparently Jazz did not believe that Prowl's stubbornness would be transferred. Which is shocking cause that seems like a spark trait and not a processor trait to me. :)
As always, this was wonderful. I'm a little sad to see it end but since this was the story of Prowl, and he's for the most part gone, it makes sense.
You are slightly evil to set this all up so beautifully and then just stop there. I've been loving this verse and would kill to see more of it. Here's hoping that you might do a sequel about Prowl's next life. :)
Stubbornness is definitely a spark trait. As is love. :)
It was Prowl's story, and that Prowl has no more story to tell, so it must end. (And I'm exhausted!!)
Slightly evil? Hmm. I've been called worse than that ;) Seriously, no I'm not planning a sequel. There may be the odd drabble here and there, but I'm leaving the rest of this 'verse to the readers' imaginations. Time to move on to a different bunny - this one has had more than enough attention.
Old-Prowl had an extremely, tragically short life, but he did so much in it. Jazz's feelings while he waited to see if Ratchet was successful were extremely well written. Although Ratchet and First Aid both found Jazz kissing old-Prowl's frame disturbing, it makes sense to me. No matter what happened next, Jazz was saying goodbye to the frame that he had loved and cherished

Prowl-that-was made good use of his time. Perhaps he was somehow aware that it was limited. In any case, he certainly did plenty with the time he had

Jazz saying goodbye to Prowl, even before he knew he'd "lost" him, was moving. I think Jazz resisted having anyone there with him when they revived the new Prowl because he knew in his spark that if it went wrong, he wouldn't be able to bear staying for very long. But the fact that he didn't leave Cybertron really meant that in his spark he didn't want to be separated from Prowl forever - he just needed his space.
I found Optimus' comments about not knowing Prowl and Jazz interesting. At first I was resentful of his lack of faith, but then I thought about it a little more. IMO, if it had been just Prowl and Jazz, it wouldn't have fazed him much, but combined with Ultra Magnus (although he's finally figured out he was wrong, yay!), Alpha Trion and all the other reprogrammings and shenanigans going on behind his back, it makes sense

Thank you for reading, and take care.
