There are so many beautiful, picturesque, historical and simply amazing sites in China. NBC had so many choices (I'm assuming, based on how much money they're contributing to the IOC and to China) as to where to put their studio and where to place their huge picture window for for maximum aesthetic effect in their broadcasts. It makes perfect sense
