Oh wow, this fic is so cool!

I loved the whole thing - how it was quite scarce with details, leaving a lot to the imagination, but in particular I really really loved this part - the non sequitur, & how it really emphasised the difference btw Kyungsoo and Tao:

"The trick to killing," Kyungsoo says to the empty room, a complete non sequitur and yet completely logical in the broader context of their lives, "is to convince people that they're already dead."

"The trick to killing," Zitao says, hackles raising for the same reason Kyungsoo always gets to him, that is, for no reason he can actually put a finger on, "is to kill people."

thank you for reading and commenting! that was actually my favourite part to write - those two lines, so it's great to read that you also found them significant ^^ do opposites attracts? do opposites destruct? our imaginations remain open and free to wonder ^^

I love how elegant and unexpected this was in so many ways? A cat assassin boss, an assassin who doesn't seem to kill anyone and two assassins plotting to get ahead of each other (or bury one another or make a plaster cast of the other as the case may be). I really enjoyed the conversations - that subtle thread of snark and veiled venom running through everything. I'm a huge fan of closure but i liked how we never really knew what happened with tao. Did kyungsoo kill him? How did he kill him? Is he going to walk into the room and and help himself to yoghourt and strawberries? Who knows?

Why do I feel like the yoghourt is a metaphor for plaster and the strawberry is Tao? /shudders with delight

Candy is standing in the entrance, delicate paws white against the black and white mosaic of the tiles. Her white fur is impeccable, chartreuse bow tied neatly beneath her chin.

Candy's entrance was perfect T______T PER. FECT. Also the fact that Candy appears in this fic and she's a boss bitch !!

Candy's gaze locks with his and Zitao can't breathe for a moment. She's so cute and fluffy. It's terrifying. When she finally turns away, he tries not to sag into the cushions of his chair.

Everything I've ever wanted :'))))))) I'm so happy Candy is a character in her own right!

There's something close, Zitao thinks, about a knife between the ribs.

URghh, I love this line so much. I love your writing.

I'm really glad you liked it! I was very excited when I got your prompts, and had the chance to spread out a bit <3 Kyungsoo is such an interesting character and his interactions with Zitao - as well as Jongin - there's so much there? It was lots of fun to play with that, just as much fun as Kyungsoo had playing with his food I expect ^.~

Kyungsoo can make everything sinister ^^ and Zitao gets so focused on things...
