[First he harassed King--friendly, of course!--then he tormented Bryn--possibly a little coy--and then he annoyed Herz--entirely accidental. From sixteen to female in a matter of days. He's not sure what's next and he's not sure he wants to know. At least he knows he still prefers men to women

Popping into Sergei's for an evening snack, he can't help but notice the exotic looking woman sitting by her lonesome. Of course, just as any other man in love, his first thoughts are how she compares to Buffy. There's the obvious difference in colors. There's the distinct muscles.
Beautiful face, all the same.
Instead of blood, the vampire tucks himself behind the bar and selects a bottle. Then, confidence in his stride, he approaches her booth.]
The seat taken, love?

Well, hello.]
Looks like it's all yours.
[He gestures to the seat, smiling broadly, a little crooked. The new guy might not be exactly Tan's type--he's a little too blonde, really--but he's easy on the eyes anyway, and hey. Guy brought alcohol with him. How bad can he be?]

Spike sprawls himself across the booth, one of his arms lazily thrown over the back. He pointedly slips one of his boots by Tan's hips. And my. He hasn't even asked the young lady her name and he's being ever so familiar.
Someone may be destructively attempting to drown a certain Slayer from his thoughts.]
Is this a habit of yours, drinking alone?

Tan spares the boot the barest of glances--it's a tactic he's used before, he knows that kind of over-familiarity when he sees it--and offers Spike a wider smile in return. He knows this game. He likes playing it. Even in this body.]
Is it a habit of yours, intruding on people's peace and quiet?

She needs a drink after today. Something hard and likely to make her pass out if she drinks too much of it. Boys are strange to deal with when you're one of them.
She sets about finding something from Askoupur, fussing around behind the bar. Don't pay any mind to the pretty girl, though she can't help another glace because damn Tanvir is pretty.]

He's not being terribly subtle about it. He's had just enough beer at this point--curse the female body's lower alcohol tolerance!--that subtle is pretty well beyond him.
But, hey, if openly appreciative staring gets the point across...]

But hey, Tanvir's a hot girl. Torin would like him even if she was female currently.
She's pulling out that bottle of hard Askoupuran alcohol, but after a moment she just stares at Tanvir. What the hell, she's an adult and a man. This could be interesting!
So she gives a smile after a moment.]
You look like you could use some company.

I sure as hell wouldn't say no.
[Is Torin one of the ones who switched or one of the ones who stayed the same? In the end, it really doesn't matter, does it. Torin's male right now and...well. Gorgeous, really.]
So what's in the bottle? Not one I've seen before.

Hey there sugar.

......
...what.]
...Hello.
[It's a talking, orange rat. ...And not, somehow, the weirdest thing he's seen so far.]
Reply
So sweetheart, what kinda sorrows are you drownin'? Think I could ah...help you get over 'em?
Reply
He can't help his laugh.]
Not drowning anything.
[Ah, what the hell.]
But feel free to join me anyway!

And stops.
To stare.]

He lifts a hand and waves.
What do you want, giant, bipedal turtle?]
Reply
He's leaving.]
Reply
He shrugs, no sense in dwelling on it, and happily goes back to his drink.]
