Okay. Most of the awards I'm quite happy with, but WTF? Why did Bourne Ultimatum win anything? That movie was terrible! And the sound wasn't anything spectacular, especially when compared to the awesome sound in Transformers. Call me a geek or whatever, but seriously!!!! Why ( Read more... )

I was actually deathly afraid that the damn French autobiography would win best animated feature because it's slightly more artsy. But alas, the Academy realized it's "Best Animated Feature". That French film really had no place in that category. They should happy to be have been nominated.

I can admit to Bourne Ultimatum for best editing. I mean, the editing is crazy mad. Poor editor... Maybe it was a pity win?

I'd actually say Pirates had better effects than Transformers, but I think they won before so it's not fair if they won again for the same effects. lol I didn't see Golden Compass so I can't judge it at the moment. I was a bit surprised though.
