FEEDBACK TIEMS

So yeah, this was our first try at running a plot-heavy CFUW game. Spain and I would like to know what you guys thought of it all. What did you like the most about it? What parts didn't you like so much? What do you think should be improved upon for next time? We would like to run another game like this in the future (in a few months, so maybe ( Read more... )

I was a little confused, early on, as to what extent we were supposed to be ICly looking at it as a wolf game. Initially I was trying to play it within the framing device of the plot, but then everyone started talking about sheep and wolves and I got confused. WE'RE PLAYING A WOLF GAME WHILE INVESTIGATING A HAUNTED HOUSE FOR SOME REASON, IDK? \O_o/

That was pretty much my only issue, though!

Oshi- yeah, that can be definitely confusing. I think I'll make it clearer next time to not bring that up ICly, since the games are a little different from regular CFUW games. That might help with that part.

To follow Riku's statement, if it's hard to frame this in a CFUW setting, maybe consider doing fuckaudie? I wasn't playing, but it seemed like something. I know Zazzle ran a similar game and did a fair job of running it in a CFUW style, too, so I'd look at that. But I glanced at things and I could tell that it didn't entirely fit the style.

What others said. Just need a better way of meshing the original investigation with the wolf game format. Aside from that it was pretty fun!

Agreeing with what was said before. It was really confusing and hard to just go along with the voting at first, because it was put like a "pick the one who's going to sleep in the farther room", and like that, the clues on the first round were kind of a bit useless-- since at that point, people were just choosing who to send in a certain room, and not who to take out in hopes of getting a wolf. For example, if Switzerland hadn't talked with Austria about his previous experience, he would have still kept his vote on him because he knew he was supposed to choose who was going to sleep far from him, not that someone was basically out to kill him.

Also, the butlers and maid explained all the history of the house to the people who were investigating, yeah, but it came off as giving a lot of details they couldn't care much about. It wasn't clear how all those information were tied to the case, and instead just seemed like the servants being way gossipy-- it kind of felt like you were expecting the characters to automatically make the ( ... )

I had the same issue as Riku, although it was kind of easy for me to play ignorance of the sheep/wolf issue since it was Leaf's first game.

Aside from that, though, I don't really have anything to pick on. I enjoyed myself a lot! Sad I didn't last longer (as evidenced by pouncing every single person in the limbo post ahaha I just wanted to plaaaaay ;o; ), but I think it went pretty well and I had a great time playing it. \o/
