So yeah, this was our first try at running a plot-heavy CFUW game. Spain and I would like to know what you guys thought of it all. What did you like the most about it? Agreeing with what was said before. It was really confusing and hard to just go along with the voting at first, because it was put like a "pick the one who's going to sleep in the farther room", and like that, the clues on the first round were kind of a bit useless-- since at that point, people were just choosing who to send in a certain room, and not who to take out in hopes of getting a wolf. For example, if Switzerland hadn't talked with Austria about his previous experience, he would have still kept his vote on him because he knew he was supposed to choose who was going to sleep far from him, not that someone was basically out to kill him.

Also, the butlers and maid explained all the history of the house to the people who were investigating, yeah, but it came off as giving a lot of details they couldn't care much about. It wasn't clear how all those information were tied to the case, and instead just seemed like the servants being way gossipy-- it kind of felt like you were expecting the characters to automatically make the connection, when none was apparent at first, instead of them going "so? Who cares?". In general, I had a definite feeling that the directions you were giving were more like suggestions, where the characters were supposed to pick them up, but you didn't give them a IC reason to do so. It was kind of "You see that vase filled with flowers? Something interesting could be there if you take out the flowers!"-- when it wouldn't occur to the characters to just randomly take out the flowers.
