Almost got a magpie

Yesterday when I came home from work, there was a little magpie sitting on the parking lot. It already had feathers, but still very short ones. The little thing couldn't fly yet and obviously fell out of the nest.

They are indeed clever birds, a neighbour used to have a tame one of those and it was interesting interacting with it. It once followed me when i was walking my dog always a tree behind me^^

Some birds didn't have this chance. I've just found two in my garden few days ago, but with the sun and the heat they didn't make it before I've been able to see them.

Och wie süss! ich wünsch dem kleine Racker alles beste :)
ich hab unseren Piepmatz damals gleichzeitig aufgezogen mit Katze im Haus. Ok, wir haben ein grosses Haus und nur EINE Katze, und der Piepmatz war ein Spatz, also denk ich er ist sicher besser bei den Tierärtzen aufgehoben :) trotzdem, diese Federknäuel Bilder haben mir den Tag versüsst!
