Almost got a magpie

Yesterday when I came home from work, there was a little magpie sitting on the parking lot. It already had feathers, but still very short ones. The little thing couldn't fly yet and obviously fell out of the nest.

When I was kid, I heard someone finding bird from forest, taking it home and raising it. After that I was always hoping to find bird when I was walking around nearby forests... I'd have loved to have bird to take care of, I really liked birds :)
