I really can't stand it when people change their religion (or lack thereof) because of the person they're dating. To me, that's extremely irresponsible. I don't think religion is something that one should take lightly. I'm not at all religious, and I will openly admit that, but I have great respect for religion in its purest form. I agree, as well. That can be hard, though. I had "dated" someone once who didn't want anything to do with me after he found out that I wasn't that religious. At first I didn't know what to do, but I decided that I wasn't going to compromise myself to be something that I wasn't.

If you find the right person, they're going to be understanding enough no matter what religion you are.

Yeah, that's my opinion too. If they don't accept your religion or lack of, they aren't the right person anyway.

Also proves they don't really take their religion seriously in the first place. If your religion is so unimportant to you that you're willing to give it up just for the sake of one other person, there's no sense in even having one.
