Parings: Eunhae, Hanchul
Ratings: PG
Summary: Donghae is reeling in shock, and he wonders how he is going to face Eunhyuk, after that embarrassing message.

Donghae stared at his phone in shock, his mind unable to process the last sentence he just saw. He read it, again and again, jolting his mind from the numbness that had threatened to steal his brain away. He dragged his eyes from the phone to the mirror in front of him, taking in his own form. His cheeks were flushed, his eyes were so wide, and he was practically frozen to the spot.

Don't tell me Eunhyuk actually read what Jessica wrote. Donghae thought to himself, feeling his knees go weak. Even if he did actually like Eunhyuk, he didn't want to confess in this way. He would rather tell Eunhyuk himself, instead of letting him find it out this way

Wait, scratch that. Why in the world was I thinking? I like Eunhyuk? Donghae forced out a laugh, and ruffled his hand through his hair. Underneath his calm facade, his heart was knocking around in his ribs, his mind was tumbling and thoroughly in confusion, completely going against what he, himself, wanted to feel. He sat down on the floor, unable to regain his sense of balance after his shock.

"Uhm, you must be Donghae I guess? Is Eunhyuk here?" A girl popped her head in, curiosity evident on her face. Donghae slowly lifted his head to face her, and shook his head slowly. The girl looked at Donghae concernedly, wondering if he was going to faint in the studio. She hesitantly took a step in, but changed her mind at the very last minute. She swung her head back to the corridor, hearing footsteps approaching. Neatly shrugging her shoulders, she stepped back out.

"Please take care okay! I will be going off to find Eunhyuk now. Thank you." The girl stated politely, before running off in the opposite direction. Donghae then slowly nodded his head in response, the aftereffects of the shock carefully settling in. She looks familiar though, I wonder where I have ever seen her before...

"Hey!...Oh. Eunhyuk's not here? You must be Donghae, am I right?" A voice broke the silence in the room, and Donghae sighed, lifting his gaze for the second time in 1 minute. He nodded slowly, staring at the guy at the door, before widening his eyes. He had recognised this person, he was one of the most popular guys in the school, because he could dance well, and best of all, he was humble and modest. Unlike most other dancers, who puff their chests and stride in arrogance, Eunhyuk had once told him that this guy was the senior that he looked up to, respected the most, because he was willing to give him the chance to dance.

Donghae stood up cautiously, bowing politely in the direction of the stranger. "He's not here right now...Hankyung." Donghae mumbled carefully under his breath. Hankyung raised an eyebrow at Donghae, immediately sensing that something was wrong. He walked over and lifted Donghae's chin, who had dropped his head right after he addressed the senior. "What's wrong? Did Eunhyuk and you fight or what? I was told that you were very close friends to him!" Hankyung asked.

"I....don't know...."Donghae mumbled back, still upset that Eunhyuk had possibly read that message and left the dance studio without telling him anything. Even if he rejects me...I would be accept it...but somehow...I know that he would accept me... Donghae stared at the floor, before suddenly jumping up, cursing himself silently for letting his imagination go wild. But there's nothing wrong with hoping....right?

Hankyung smiled gently, he felt as if he was seeing himself few years ago once again, when he was confronted with such troubles. There is no need to guess...this guy IS in love with Eunhyuk, hopelessly trying to deny it...and Eunhyuk...he will also try to deny his feelings....two retarded people in a relationship without even knowing it themselves... Hankyung shook his head, finding this situation comical. He gently prodded Donghae out of his trance, who looked up with his sad puppy eyes. Hankyung sighed, and placed his palm upwards, expecting. Donghae glanced at Hankyung, knowing what he is expecting. He sighed, placing his phone right into the senior's hand.

Hankyung smiled, scrolling through the messages, without letting anything slip past. He frowned, wondering where exactly was the problem. Isn't this kind of perfect? Hankyung thought silently to himself, scratching the side of his head in confusion. He tilted his head slightly, looking at Donghae. Oh right, two silly people in denial. Of course.... He mused to himself, amused.

"Just one question, Donghae. How exactly do you feel about Eunhyuk?" Hankyung adopted a solemn expression, trying his best to control the laughter that was threatening to burst forth. Donghae and Eunhyuk could be likened to blind mice, they had obviously fallen in love, but they were unwilling to face up to reality. Donghae smiled wryly, wringing his hands, and played with his shirt. He took in a deep breath, and glanced up.

"I don't know... Whenever I am around him, I want to speak to him. Whenever I see him spacing out and glancing out of the window, bored or sad, I want to go over and cheer him up, with a simple 'hi' that could make his eyes crinkle in this especially sweet way, that would immediately make my day as well. Whenever I see him doodling during Geography lessons, I wonder what he is thinking of, if he is sharing the same thoughts as me, that if he was enjoying the lesson as well. Whenever I see him dance, I stay locked onto the same spot, seemingly for minutes only, but in reality hours had passed, without me knowing it, just simply thinking of how I could dance with him, and make it seem even better. Whenever he smiles when he is with his friends, my mood lifts inexplicably. Whenever he stands right in front of me, I space out, staring aimlessly, feeling that I am unable to move, my brain refusing to process my commands. Whenever he reaches out and places a friendly hand on my shoulder, this warm feeling spreads throughout me...and before I know it, I can't help but smile back at him, liking that wide gummy smile of his." Donghae stated, his eyes lost in his own world. He was remembering every single detail that had brought them together, as good friends, and possibly something more, that both of them knew...

Hankyung threw his back and laughed freely, this was definitely a blind silly guy in front of him. Donghae looked back up curiously, frowning slightly. Hankyung waved his hand, motioning that he had meant no harm. He continued laughing, clutching his sides as rolls of laughter rolled by. A guy knocked on the door, with a smirk gracing his features. As he walked in, he glanced at the laughing Chinese guy that was unable to stop his laughter now, before raising an eyebrow at Donghae, who simply shrugged his shoulders.

The newcomer threw a hand around Hankyung's shoulders, gesturing for him to stop. Hankyung gulped in deep breaths of air, calming himself down. "This is Donghae, as we both already know, because Eunhyuk has been talking about you so many times in front of us. Donghae, this is Heechul." Hankyung introduced, smiling at Heechul.

"Yah, lovesick fool." Heechul teased Donghae, who snapped out of his daydream and stared at Heechul. "Uhm...? I'm not in love..." Donghae frowned at Heechul, whose smirk was growing wider by every passing second.

"Don't try to deny. I was standing at the door right when you launched into your love confession. If I didn't trust Hankyung, and if I didn't know that you are Donghae, I would have thought that that would have been a very touching and loving confession to Hankyung, and I would have immediately pounced on you and beat the daylights out of you." Heechul exclaimed airily, throwing his hands up in an exaggerated motion.

Heechul threw a side glance at Hankyung, who nodded in confirmation. "Uh...Donghae. In case you didn't know, Eunhyuk often talked and spoke in length about you, in exactly the same way you just told us about him." Heechul stated simply.

"And uhh Donghae? Your girlfriend...Jessica? Don't worry about her. Leave it to us." Hankyung and Heechul winked at the same time, making Donghae a little uncomfortable.

"It's fine. I can talk to him now." Jessica appeared in the doorway, a smile plastered onto her features. "If you two can please kindly now leave us alone for a while...we have a lot of things to talk about." Jessica walked into the room, while both Heechul and Hankyung backed off, sending a silent thumbs up to Donghae, who was bewildered at the sudden turn of events.

-------------

"Oppa! There you are!" She jumped onto the bench that Eunhyuk was sitting on, smiling widely. She waved her hands in front of Eunhyuk, who seemed to be in a complete daze. Eunhyuk snapped out of it, and absorbed his surroundings. He gave a tentative smile at the girl right next to him, before sighing heavily.

"What's wrong, Oppa?" She looked at him in concern. "You are the same as Donghae, aren't you? I just spotted him in the dance studio, and he was clutching to his phone in one hand and looking at the floor forlornly. Whatever happened?" She asked gently, prodding Eunhyuk with her forefinger.

Clutching his phone....!!!! He knew that I have read through his messages?!?! How am I ever going to face him in the future then? Eunhyuk whirled around, shocked.

"Yah Oppa...you know I am always here for you right?" She said tentatively.

Eunhyuk smiled, carefully ruffling her hair. He patted her on the head, happy that she had finally recovered from that previous episode.

"Of course Yuri! You are always my little sister! That previous relationship with that guy, I'm glad that I could help you get over it." Eunhyuk flashed a smile at his younger sibling, pulling her into a hug. Yuri smiled, comforted that her brother was now feeling okay.

"That time...in the restaurant...you sure you don't need me to explain to Donghae what happened? To make sure that he doesn't get the wrong idea?" Yuri asked innocently, glancing at Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk had stiffened upon hearing Donghae's name, and visibly tried to make himself relax. Yuri stifled a giggle behind her palm, finding her brother's reaction funny. She poked her brother in the stomach, earning a mock glare.

"Oppa...stop trying to deny it! You are in love!" Yuri sang loudly, proclaiming Eunhyuk's feelings into the air, before jumping up from the bench and running around it, as Eunhyuk attempted to poke and tickle her. Eunhyuk faced the front with a grumpy face, but underneath it, he was confused. Me..Donghae? What are my exact feelings for him... Eunhyuk thought aloud, unaware that he had voiced his thoughts as well.

Yuri chuckled, pushing Eunhyuk from behind. "I already told you! You are definitely in love with him! Every time you come home from dance practices these days, you smile as if your day was perfect. Every time when we snatch for food from the dinner table, you would suddenly grin that foolish smile of yours whenever you see the fish for some reason. You suddenly took a liking to drinking from bottled water, instead of drinking from your well-used water bottle. You suddenly started studying so hard for geography, a subject which you totally abhor in the beginning of the year, until I know that you met a certain guy named Lee Donghae. You purchase the two copies of the same notebook, because you want to write notes to some guy in class, knowing that your notebook is in dire need of replenishing." She grinned, stating her hidden observations.

Eunhyuk raised an eyebrow at his sister. "Didn't you know you are that observant, you rascal!" He joked, the laughter finally reaching his eyes. "Why don't you apply that to something else like your studies?"

Yuri sat down beside Eunhyuk, staring at her older brother solemnly. "Oppa, don't forgo this chance. Don't regret it, don't end up like me on that day, having my heart broken because I was too naive and stupid and silly. I already experienced it once, and I don't want my dearest elder brother go through that as well." Yuri stared into the eyes in front of her, silently transmitting her plea. Eunhyuk stared back, getting the message, grasping her hands silently, thanking.

"Of course, I can stand my brother being gay!" Yuri exclaimed, jumping off and escaping once again, before her older brother could do anything to her. "Now go confess to him or something, for once, BE A MAN!" She shouted from the distance. "Don't make me upset! Or disappoint me! I want to hear good news before you come back to the house tonight! OR else you know what I can do!" Yuri was grinning so widely that her smile was visible from the distance. She winked, turning around, slinging her bag across and proceeded home.

Stupid sister. Eunhyuk thought to himself affectionately. Yuri was, and will always be, his greatest younger sister forever.

"So now, what do I do?" Eunhyuk pondered, wondering at the next steps he should take.

----Meanwhile,-----

"Donghae, turn around and face me. We need to talk about this." Jessica stated simply, looking at the guy in front of her, who was facing out of the window, his face contorted to display the range of emotions rushing through his mind, through his brain, through his heart.

He couldn't stop the inflow, every single image of Eunhyuk since he met him, was vivid and fresh in his mind. He couldn't take in Jessica's words at this time, his mind was pre-occupied.

How stupid of me...needing someone else to make me face up to reality...to realise that I AM in love with Eunhyuk. Donghae thought to himself.

He glanced apologetically at Jessica, before grabbing his belongings along with Eunhyuk's, who had foolishly left them here when he stumbled out. He stood in front of Jessica, his apology evident in his eyes, before mumbling a "I'm sorry", and rushed out of the dance studio, to find a certain guy named Lee Eunhyuk, also known as Lee Hyukjae.
