How long has it been? How long?

[ The voice of Jack Vessalius seems worried, upset, confused, hurt, angry. He had woken up- but it didn't seem to be right. Something was off. He felt like he had slept for a month. Are you all right now? And yes... Alice has always stayed by your side. She was the one taking care of you while you were in your sleep coma. She's okay, don't worry.

And, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure. Though, Alice told me about your state around two weeks ago... Maybe you've been sleeping for that long.

... I'd lie if she wasn't worried about you, though. I tried my best to make her feel better, but she deeply cares too much not to worry. I couldn't blame her since I knew how she felt. [Something like this happened to a precious friend of his, too.]

Guess who's been out hopping about for new remedies for you, Jack? You guessed it! Alice is currently on her way back from the pharmacy, several medications in hand. She isn't quite sure what they all do but, hey, one of them has got to work, right?

She tried explaining the situation to the pharmacist but quickly grew impatient and ordered that he give her some of everything. (Guess it's a good thing Jack is up now, or he might have gone into a different kind of coma >,>)

Alice was halfway home when she got the blank message. Though she was carrying so many things it made it hard for her to maneuver the sfc that hung around her neck. Eventually she tilted the star-shaped device up enough to glance down at the screen and read the name of the sender and--

Immediately Alice took off running. She ran all the way back to the home she and Jack shared in coral corral and burst through the front door, making a beeline for Jack's bedroom. What she saw there caused her to drop the bag of pills, many of which rolled out of the bag and scattered on the floor.

There was really no need to question it. There he was, sitting up in bed. Sitting up. Awake. After all this time he spent lying lifeless on the sheets, here he was with his eyes wide open, those emerald greens sending shock waves throughout her tiny body. And all she could do is stand and stare, out of breath and unable to move forward. Almost as if she felt that if she were to try and get any closer she'd wake up and this would all have been some dream, and he would still be sleeping.

So she'll just wait for you to reassure her that this is no dream, Jack.
