How long has it been? How long?

[ The voice of Jack Vessalius seems worried, upset, confused, hurt, angry. He had woken up- but it didn't seem to be right. Something was off. He felt like he had slept for a month. He was unshowered, not fed, hot and sweaty, anything one could imagine. He's frantic at the moment. Very frantic. He needed Alice. Yes. ( Read more... )

Ah~ Mister Jack. A pleasure to see you've yet to disappear once more.

What is that supposed to mean?

Why, nothing at all, of course, beyond exactly what I said.

How paranoid to think otherwise. Are you quite alright?

No, I'm not alright infact. I'm terrible. Extremely terrible.

My, what an unfortunate answer.

And why might that be, Sir Jack?

I've been asleep for weeks. I worried Alice. I don't know what's going on. I'm confused.

[Poor Jack even sounds dumbfounded.]

[Oh good lord is he really counseling the "great hero" Jack Vessalius?

....seems so. Well, perhaps some use can be gotten from this.]

Certainly so! I imagine you shall not need much sleep now in the future; how fortunate, correct? I am certain Alice shall be pleased to spend that time with you, or perhaps more a meal of meat, though it is difficult to say with a person such as her. We are, in fact, kidnappees within a bubble that appears to be underwater! if you were unaware.

If you are still confused, Sir Jack, I am afraid there is little help I can offer you.

No, I'm aware of where I am. I didn't even dream that I went home. I dreamed that Alice was hurting, and Red was worrying, and that my friend here, Matthew went home and came back. All of these events happened, apparently.

[Dammit Break, this is really hard to explain. He's so...lost.]

I'm not terribly confused anymore.

[Ah, it is no fun to tease when they do not react.

He gives Jack a long look, for once his smile shifting sharper, into a smirk, and--]

Is that so? I do hope you are not lying; it is a bad habit to fall into.

[He'll react when he isn't on planet X Break. Promise.]

I know my surroundings. I just need to have the information on a "sleeping spell", that was apparently put over me for the last few weeks.

Nothing in the least happened, Sir Jack, and most certainly not to you!

Nothing has happened?

Precisely so. Aside from your unfortunate--but not unusual--sleep, little has occurred to throw you into such a tizzy!

...So this is a normal occurance?

[This place just made no sense anymore. :( ]

[Did it ever make sense? Really?]

I would not go so far as to say that it was abnormal, Sir Jack.

[Jack mistakenly thought he had this all figured out.]

So it's completely normal to sleep for weeks here?
