Almost half of my county may already have voted

You wouldn't have guessed it with all of the referenda and ballot initiatives that have been clogging the airwaves. But as of this morning, almost 400,000 voters in King County had already had their mail-in votes counted. In Spokane County, 56% of the expected number of ballots had been received as of yesterday. Woohoo!

I figured the surfeit of ballot initiatives was to relieve the legislature from having to, you know, legislate.

I mean, there would be commercials anyway; it's not like they made the shows shorter for the election, but boy howdy I'm looking forward to not having presidential ads occupying my Pennsylvania.
