I considered trying to save it, at least for partial credit. I had given serious thought to heading out to the San Juans for a long weekend at the end of March, which would give me "Back to the mainland!" on the return, but got snowed out. After a fairly long week mid-month, I turned left at the ferry on the walk home and spent a relaxed evening

Say, would you be among the people I might hang out with during a jaunt to Seattle from, say, May 20th-24th? Got any ideas?

I certainly would be among the people you might hang out with! My evening of the 22nd is booked with opening night for the film festival, but the rest of the week is wide open. When it doubt, I always fall back on getting out on the water somehow (it's the Pisces in me) but there are a lot of options. Are you feeling more like dinner, tours, shows?
