No one buys me expensive crap like that...oh well, I'd probably break it.
Have you found it yet? Just hope he didn't put it in the fridge. I have a friend who always hides another friend's keys when they come over; one time they hid them in the freezer...o.O
Yeah, he's not as good at hiding things as he thinks. I waited until he was gone for work, then called it. He hid it behind the pictures on the mantle, where I can't reach, and wouldn't see.
Yeah, when I still lived at home, my littlest sisters would hide my car keys all the time. They hid them inside a display Christmas present once!
As for the expensive presents, well, it's more that buying things is just too much work for him. He has no idea what I like to wear (beyond "clothes"), what jewelry I would choose (All my jewelry is inherited and therefore antique, so he can't go off that), what perfumes I would like, etc. Technology is all he has.
LOL on all accounts! I would have hid it in an air duct or inside a cushion after turning it off.
Luckily, I am the youngest but I never hid crap like that. Too much effort and I hate pissing people off if I have to live with them.
I have such random and bizarre taste that it sucks to try to buy gifts for me. I usually just ask for money or gift cards. And hooray for antique jewelry! I have a few things that I have inherited that are sweet. I also have some junk jewelry that is hella lot older than I am that may be sacrificed soon to make other jewelry...
