New Job

The apprenticeship is over.  I had fun and learned a lot.  I’m not sure if I will do anything else where the techniques I used will prove useful, but you never know.  I’m glad I did it regardless.  Just getting there was an adventure.

Now it’s time to move on, though I’m not sure to where exactly.  For now it’s to field work.  I have a short term ( Read more... )

That sounds like a pretty sweet gig! I'm glad that you found something so appealing, and that you enjoyed your apprenticeship.

So what happens from November through February? Just chillin'? (No pun intended.)

Not super appealing, but it's biology and it's doable. Presumably the bats and mpst birds are all done migrating by November, so we are not needed again until February when they start heading back.
