If Neil is still bothered by the week, by the deal Todd made, it doesn't show. How much of that is a brave front is anyone's guess. He looks-- well, more alive than usual, cheeks flushed from the heat of their small fire. He might as well enjoy it, after all; what's done is done. Besides, it is a nice change. He doesn't bother with the book tonight, perched comfortably on a stone as he delivers their invocation;
"I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life. To put to rout all that was not life, and not, when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived."
