So my boss just trashed my day

Now before you think she's really evil, it's not like that. She's actually a really good boss for me. She seems to *get* my introversion, she has a kid with the same autism spectrum diagnosis (without the other mental health issues), and she's good technically, a good writer ... a bit of a micro-manager with others, but not so much with me.

Discussions like this are areally just a way for managers to justify their existence. Poor manager. Let her "manage", then go do what you do. WHich, yanno, usually WORKS.

oh, i'm laughing now ...

Just for the record, nothing got any clearer today -- we had a round of meetings that informed me about a new source control system I will have to use (in addition to the other two already in place) and two major new features being implemented that require documentation. Pronto.

Ah well. I have a job. That is to be grateful for!
