So my boss just trashed my day

Now before you think she's really evil, it's not like that. She's actually a really good boss for me. She seems to *get* my introversion, she has a kid with the same autism spectrum diagnosis (without the other mental health issues), and she's good technically, a good writer ... a bit of a micro-manager with others, but not so much with me.

And maybe that's the problem.

It's time for the annual 'goal setting' exercise they make us go through, and so she sent me off this little list:

"One is to be a developmental goal (i.e., a skill, training, etc. that you would like to acquire). Please come with ideas for this one!
How can we extend the concept of "collaboration" into documentation projects?
Working with Sweden: not entirely certain what the "goal" is here but let's think on it.....
setup/configuration information: what is the appropriate way to deliver this type of info?
database/automated publishing project: I need to get your input on where we should go next with this one.
Anything else you can think of that you think we should focus on in the coming year. "

I think it's just a bad day for this, but my reaction was -- I really don't wanna learn anything new. I have no ideas on what we should be doing next.

I can't think of anything else because I can't finish what I already have on my plate!

Sigh. Maybe it will be better in the morning.
