This prompt. Kurt looks adorable and childlike; people want to snuggle and help him because of it. Rachel just wishes he’d appreciate the advantage it gives him. Kurt is largely unimpressed by the whole thing.

Early sophomore year, Finn had nothing against Kurt, but he didn’t really know the dude, either... )

character: ensemble, fanfiction: glee, genre: canonesque, character: kurt hummel, mostly: fluff, character: rachel berry

A new fic by my favorite author!!! That put so much joy in my day, I can't thank you enough!

I'm really glad you wrote a fic with all the characters, because you are so great at characterization, it's nice to see your take on all of them :)

I think my favorite were Mike/Tina and Brit/Artie. You got Mike's voice really well, it was realistic, and fit well with the little that we know about him. I loved that line: "Mike didn’t really like having to speak without Tina there." It was hilarious, and so was the reference to the Eyebrows Show :P ( ... )

A new fic by my favorite author!!! That put so much joy in my day, I can't thank you enough! OMG OMG HYPERVENTILATING. YOU MAKE ME SO JOYOUS. And I'm so glad you liked the characterization, the people I'm used to are hard but doing everyone is so much harder, these people I tell ya.

So yeah, I'm super glad you liked Mike, and Artie/Brittany, and no, I don't think that's weird at all; I'm sure that were I capable of such feelings, a threesome between that lot would totally do it for me. It would be hilarious and mad sexy, they're so hot. And the wheelchair ride, too, totally unf.

Lol idek what Glee was doing with that little wave at the end of the episode, are they serious with this. I mean, I guess it could work, whatevs, it's just that the partner-trading is reaching rather ridiculous heights now ( ... )

It's so amusing that we make each other happy like this, you by writing such awesome stuff, and me by commenting obnoxiously on everything you do :P It's great to be appreciated for basically being a stalker *has no shame*

But seriously, I really like that you take the time to reply every comment with more than just "thank you!", I love those discussions we have where I shamelessly spam your entries

Oh baby, it's not even amusing, it's a circle of bliss, like the Circle of Life only smaller and with more pizazz and less dead antelope. (At least atm. I should probably do something about Bambi's mom to counteract that.) No but seriously, I don't think there is a world in which "deliberately making a person deliriously happy" counts as "stalking," yo.

Pfffff are you serious though, I will rattle on about anything in the world in writing, I'm just lucky y'all put up with me.

Alright so commenting on your fic is becoming a habit ;)

This cracked me up so much. I know it wasn't all supposed to be funny, but I adored the little Rachel things at the end of every part. And Finn trying to tie Kurt's top and being all proud but doing it wrong? Priceless =D

THIS IS A GOOD HABIT

I APPROVE AND ENCOURAGE IT BB

But for serious thank you so much! And I'm psyched you liked the parts that were supposed to be cute and funny best, because... uh. They were supposed to be the focus, originally. You know. It was a fluff prompt. They got a little buried in everything else sometimes though, oh self. SO BUT YEAH thank you for commenting and I am so so glad you liked it and loled!

Fluff prompts pfft XD
Who needs to stick to them? (actually fluff is love but still)

Do you have any fic recs for Glee? I don't know where to look for things that aren't Klaine :P

Oh wow. Um, okay, so I've come up with a list. This is super incomplete because a) it's only stuff I had links handy for and b) there's no Klaine. And as much as I don't think of myself as reading romantic fics? I went to rec stuff and realized that at least half of what I wanted to rec was in fact Klaine. So that being said...

Hospital is a horror fic, like really, it’s like a good horror movie in fic form, with the Glee cast. It’s also unfinished, possibly terminally, but you know. Those twelve chapters are super good!

This Is Mostly about Pie, just Hudmel Christmas cuteness. Or possibly Thanksgiving, I don’t remember, but it was super cute.

Manning Up is about Finn… ah. Manning up. With regards to what Kurt’s facing and how it’d be great if Finn could be supportive about things, pls and thnx.

A five times prompt on the angst meme; five times Kurt found Finn crying and one time Finn found Kurt crying. I… wow, this is finished! I’d only read the first two. Yay more for me! But what I read was quite good.

How Puck and Santana... )

NGL, I kind of clapped my hands like a delighted seal when I saw this. :D

I love this. Your ensemble fics are always so good, because you have everyone's voices down so well. I really like Mike being pathetically afraid of losing Tina and Puck kind of secretly just wanting a cuddle. And oh, Rachel, I love you, let me give you a hug.

(“Several people saw me yesterday, and all of them have been more than happy to tell me about it. I choose not to dwell.” KURT YOU ARE MY FAVOURITE.)

I am v. happy to hear it! I totes do the same thing when I saw you commented bb, HAPPINESS ALL AROUND. And I am extra glad with cherries and sprinkles that you liked this as an ensemble fic, because I really - I mean, ensemble fic is my thing, it's what I do, but I hardly ever do it for this fandom because everyone is so hard to write! Well, that, and since it's my newest fandom and I'm not eighteen anymore I'm a lot more aware of how hard they are to write. And it does all come down to voice (I have realized as I try to write Blaine, holy fuck is he driving me insane the little bugger), and I just... never feel as solid on this ensemble, voice-wise, as I used to with other fandoms. SO ALL OF THIS WHINGING TO SAY thank you v. much and I am glad you liked the voices, so very glad.

(And that line because srsly, I'm getting used to him but writing Kurt-esque lines is not my usual thing, yo.)

Hee! This was cute and witty and perfectly meta because fangirls (and possibly most of the female Glee cast) do seem to have a strange maternal fetish over Chris Colfer's doll-like looks.

Kurt didn’t usually show up for practices. He said he had better things to do, and Coach Tanaka totally had a guy crush on him due to his having a valuable skill, so the little dude never got in trouble for like anything.

LOL. This is going into my instant personal canon. I love Kurt not showing up for football practice and not bothering to learn anything about the game and Tanaka letting it all slide because he's sooo desperate to have a player on his team who can score field goals.

Artie was strongly in favor of being Brittany’s boyfriend. She was hot, and popular, and hot, and talented. And she bothered Tina. And she was hot. And she wasn’t put off by his wheelchair even a little. But she was also a little bit crazy, in a charming way, This really made me giggle. It's so perfectly teenage boyish. But it was also a wonderfully concise way ( ... )

I KNOW IT'S SO FRACKING META, I was trying so hard to... like, acknowledge that it's a thing, okay, he does look like a doll and that does give him an edge in some things, but at the same time, Kurt is not the kind of person to be touched by people treating him as younger than he is. And it is, on several levels, horrifically condescending, especially mixed with the... like, there's almost something sexist about it, because Kurt has a lot of ~traditionally feminine~ traits and that plays into treating someone like they're a kid, it just does, and... ffffnar. Idk idk bro. At the end of the day they don't mean anything bad by it and it does give him an advantage, which, Kurt likes advantages. Just. Probably not over-fond of this one ( ... )
