Wow! That's awesome, and I think I can say that we'd be into it. But i can't recall if we're seeing the movie or not.

In other news - must see you and exchange $$ for tickets already. what's yer sched like over the next week?

A lot of people are, because they've all heard the horror stories about people being humiliated onstage (being made to hump chairs, etc). But we've been careful to keep our show free of anything humiliating or potentially embarrassing, because it's really unnecessary. It's just as amazing to see your friends hyponotized and acting as if they're driving car as it is to see them doing something embarrassing, yk? And if you can make the show amazing and funny without embarrassing anybody, then it makes for a much better show than some crappy hypnotist who has to resort to humiliation to get laughs.

Other people are afraid of being hypnotized simply because they don't really understand how hypnosis works - they think it's a kind of thing where they stop thinking and are totally under somebody else's control. The simple fact about hypnosis is that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, and if asked to do something contrary to their basic nature, a person will come out of the trance state. (saviolo is an example of this - IIRC, he was hypnotized at one ( ... )
