Two art thefts in one week?! WTF?

Oh hey, another art theft on Deviantart...someone applied a basic Photoshop filter to the image of my white dragon and then put it in their gallery claiming they painted it.

I am not amused, internet. I am not amused.

Sorry this is happening to you! It seems your little dragon has been spread to the far reaches of the internet universe, without proper credit being given.

Do you have any luck reporting it? I've found photos from published books on dA pages where the person is not only claiming to have done the work photographed, but the photo itself... and offering prints for sale. I reported it, waited 6 months, then reported it again. I never got a reply back.

I reported both incidents but so far I haven't heard back...I've been told that they pay more attention when the owner of the stolen work (in this case, me) reports the theft than when other people report it...but that more often than not, nothing ever gets done no matter who reports it.=/
