When no one was there to greet him, Sindre wasn't surprised. After all, he had rushed back, and Valdi wasn't intended to be home for a half hour yet.
An hour later, Sindre wasn't terribly concerned. Yes, he wanted to see his brother's dragon, but who would expect a teen with his first dragon to rush home with it? His first flight on Tordenbrak, he never wanted to land. Granted, the current system hadn't been set up, and he had mostly taught himself to fly the stormcutter, but still. Flying was flying.
After a couple of hours passed, Sindre was officially worried. He had tried to convince himself that he was worried over nothing, and he likely was, but Valdi knew Sindre wanted to see him at least once before he did anything else with the other graduates. Nodding once to himself, he strode outside, gave Tordenbrak terse directions, and set off on his own as his dragon leaped into the sky.
If Valdi were in the air, Tordenbrak would find him. If not...Sindre on foot would have to do.
