Who: Sindre and Valdi
When: Afternoonish
Where: Iceland
What: Everyone has to grow up.
Sindre whooped as his stormcutter dove, exhilaration filling him as they hurtled toward the ground. At the last second, they leveled out, and Tordenbrak brought them to a solid landing. Sindre hauled himself out of the saddle and strode forward, reaching up to scratch his dragon's neck. Tordenbrak butted his head into Sindre's shoulder in return, almost bowling him over, causing Sindre to let out a burst of surprised laughter.
After settling his dragon, Sindre headed down the path to the house he and his brother shared. Valdi had made him promise not to wait around the house all day, and though he had made a valiant effort, curiosity had driven him back before his brother arrived. He couldn't help it. It was finally time for his brother to become a dragonrider, and Sindre was fair dying to know what sort of dragon Valdi would bring home.
