but um...i think i'd prefer a book too. and not just because the electronic stuffs are a bit less "owning" and a bit more "leasing." (Darn that ipod!). i think its actually nostalgia, combined with this internal script. no one curls up with a good piece-of-metal-and-plastic.
er, 'sides, a book's type is mechanical too. not AS mechanical, but it coulda been handwritten. on homemade paper. bound by saved scraps of...DUDE! i have an idea for your next christmas present!

The only downside to books vs. e-readers is that they are easier on trees.
