Today was a good day. I went to the writer's group and made a piece of flash fiction (which I've put under the cut. Be forewarned - it's awful but was created in 20 minutes). I thought it would be fun to cook curry. I had half of the ingredients in my apartment and the rest look like they'd be easy to find. I think people don't understand why I'm here. A lot of my family seems to think I'm here on vacation, some friends too. I have been accepted into the University of Hawaii's Cambridge CELTA program for ESL.

I was reading through one of my older journals recently. It amazes me how much I've changed. In this older journal I used to update nearly everyday, or at very least once a week and the titles of the entries were hilarious and the entries themselves were humorous too.
