And desk room, and cabinet room ... and not a box to live in whilst at work. My shoulders aren't so darned caved in at this new desk either. And there's room to work on paperwork without things falling off my desk. I just joked with my supervisor that it only took 10 years for me to get a decently sized cube/working area. No joke, though. I should take a picture of my cube here at work. If you saw how I have things packed in here you would wonder I ever get anything accomplished :)

Sounds like my old cube downstairs! I'm still in "pinch me" mode about how grand these new cubes are. I don't feel like a sardine in a can. Now the challenge will be making sure I don't use up every possible space on my desktop with "unfiled, unorganized stuff."

Yea for you! I can understand the cubical thing; my old job had us packed like cattle and we had to share stalls... I mean cubicles.

LOL! Stalls! Yeah, I can totally relate. The smallest I ever had was at an IT company (from 2000-2001) that was about the 1/3 of the size of this one. I joke, but it's true, that all I could do was roll back about an inch, swivel the chair to the left then get up. That was truly it. Cozy would be the way to put a "positive spin" to it. Mouse hole would be more accurate!

So two ppl per stall? How the hell do ppl work like that? Geesh!

It was very uncomfortable if you didn't like rubbing elbows with your cellmate, LOL. It basically was one person in first, if they needed to get up for anything (grab a print out, send a fax or use the bathroom) you had to move for them everytime or offer to do whatever they needed for them if you where headed in that direction. I was the lucky first one in and my cellmate always joked "I'm gonna hit the head, I'll go for you while I'm there".
