Exactly what I've been proposing all along for the Roma people. Only, in my version a piece of Greece is carved off in exchange for a bail out. And then a country is built for them.

Let's face it. They won't want to stay in that country of theirs. It'd require some responsibility to run a country of their own.

Stupid idea. You don't just dump any people you come across and that you don't want at your place into some island, and hope it'll just work itself out on its own somehow. It's what looks like the easy way out in the short-term, and a recipe to disaster in the longer run. You're creating one more cesspit that'll be bound to generate problems to no end.

Not to mention it won't solve the reason for the refugee crisis, but would only temporarily deal with some of the end results. And then you'd end up with another few million refugees in a few years, and you'd find yourself looking for another island.
