Not that the refugees would want to go to any Gulf state, anyway. They're generally treated as second-class citizens there, most are unemployed, and those who have jobs are paid a fraction of the average salary there. They could be kicked out easily under any pretext, and they relinquish a number of civil rights at the moment they cross the border of a Gulf state. It's no surprise that most of these refugees prefer to take the long and risky road west, where many of them become prey to traffickers.
