Neener.

I haven't touched WoW. Did pick up a two dollar CD to play with if I decide to be really bored.

However, I am a confirmed addict of City of Heroes.

My machine choked and threw up all over the CoH installer, which is why I was surprised that WOW runs so well.

I, uh, built a new machine in September. Had I waited a couple months I could have gotten an even more godawful video card, but I didn't.

*snicker* Well, we'll see what happens when I'm not still OMFGnooblet. Right now I'm still in the Kiki stage of 'Oooh, SHINY! What does THIS button do? *poing poing poing*' stage.

The really evil thing about the game is that it has good content and fun quests straight up through the game.

On Cenarion Circle, fmsilk and I are in our late thirties having great fun with a series of hunting quests - made all the more fun by trying to increase our various tradeskills. (We both know Skinning; she's a leatherworker; I'm a tailor. And we both work on our Fishing, Cooking and First Aid.)

It's fun to be hunting down the ten Lashtail Raptors you need to finish this one quest, and stealing their hides to sew into gear that we can make good use of. Mwahah.

Heck, I'm still picking off bears one by one.

It's good to know there are a few people out there who don't make a way of life out of the game, though. I saw people do it in PSOBB, too, and they were just as scary. (One guy had been hunting the same monster drop constantly since the Gamecube version. Yikes. This thing was so rare that for years, people insisted that it was a banned item because no one ever found a legitimate one.)
