I did join a batch of other North Jersey WriMoes at the Panera Bread in Ledgewood last night. Got there around 6:45, left around 8:45, and wrote a little over 1,000 words. Also had lots of laughs. We all had the skylandswrimo chat room open and were conversing both in person and in the chat (and had at least a couple of folks who were not at ( Read more... )

I need to start watching Glee! I've heard nothing but good things about it. At this point, I should probably wait and Netflix it so I can see it in order, I suppose.

I still have not gone back and watched the first few episodes that I've missed. I need to do that.

As of tonight, I will also have missed 4 episodes in a row of Flashforward, and I don't find myself crazy about catching up. Which means FF might officially be falling by the wayside.

Oh you lovable silly. They can just deal. Keep it closed. I never have anything up (ok just googlechat is all I have) that shows I am even around. Mean? SURE! I am EVIL! But selfish! and Horrible! I don't care!

People depend on you too much! TRUE! AAANNTHONNNYYY!!! where aareee yooouuu!!!!!!!!

You are doing great! I had to take a couple of days off. My right thumb is hurting too much. Technically I am only 6 or so thousand from my half-Nano goal, but it is writing in two different things--I am really bad this nano, yet am getting writing in, so not all that bad.

I think a couple of my North Jersey peers are doing what you are doing, and splitting the writing between two different projects. I considered that myself, and thought about working on my super-hero stories as well, but so far have stuck to the one piece.

Your poor thumb!!!!

I like bouncing back and forth, I've found. I never did before, but it is keeping me going, so...yes. I just saw Infinity's count. We need to hurry and catch him! LOL.

I do not know why my thumb hurts. I seriously don't. It is like I jambed it so that hitting the spacebar hurts a bit. Weird, huh. Or, pulled it back too far--not sure. ARGH!!!!

If I start to feel like I'm dragging, I may do it. It's not like the NaNo word counter knows whether you are writing two different projects or not when you post for confirmation, right?

Yeah, some years you just have to say "no." Discretion is the better part of valor, and all that. There's always next year, when I once again look forward to you totally kicking my ass in word count. *grin*

And the sad thing is, the people who were aggravating me last night were people I genuinely enjoy talking to, good friends ... they just didn't get the point, I guess. So tonight when I start writing (probably around 9pm at this rate), I'll be making sure I don't have Facebook open in the background.
