Adric and I went to the zoo yesterday! We were going to go to the zoo Monday and the Cave of the Mounds Wednesday, but his car broke down on his way to his parent's place on father's day, so he couldn't be back in time. The forecasts kept saying storms for Wednesday; I checked Tuesday and the hour-by-hour forecasts all had little thunderstorm ( Read more... )

Ironically enough I sat down just now to check movie times of Transformers. <3

Now I kinda wanna see it JUST to see a teacher hitting on a student mid-lecture. :)

I forgot to add:

"Damn you M Night Shamwow!"

Might officially be better than: "What a tweest!"

Oooh, it was really hamfisted too! "virginal stars" and that sort of thing. Creeeepyyyy.

I don't think I'm familiar with that phrase? =/ Personally I like that Morgan Freeman is playing Appa just by flying around.

It was creepy. I fully support student teacher relationships (Hermione/Snape anyone?) but that was awful.

:) Totally worth it for the horrified giggling.

It was making fun of M. Night on Robot Chicken and he just kept shouting WHAT A TWEEEEEEST. <3

Morgan Freeman flying around might IMPROVE the movie honestly.

Also: Did your showing of transformers include a PREVIEW for Avatar? Mine did. It looked like someone looked at a picture from Avatar and knew the title and ran with that.

Yes, clearly that part was written by a particularly clueless guy; no woman would ever think that was a good idea. =| (I see your Hermione/Snape and raise you a Harry/Snape!) Those parts did seem more of a caricature of an action movie than an actual action movie, really ( ... )

Oh god I love Henry Vilas - that was the closest park to me when I lived on south Park (turn south at the artificial limb place, left at Walgreens, head for the flashing red and blue lights), so I used to spend loooooads of time there; but yesomgsotiny the zoo.

Heeey! I had gathered that you lived in the midwest somewhere but I had no idea you used to live in Madison! =D Sadly I am not all that familiar with Madison (I mostly go there for Barnes and Noble, and to get there I hardly have to go into the city at all), but I still think that's neat.

I hear that they've made improvements lately but it's still really under construction in some spots, and some of the animals looked like they could have conceivably come from a nearby petshop. XD Still, it's free, and it's a zoo!
